Shanghai Cooperation Organization Raises Concerns Over Terrorist Groups Activities in Afghanistan

(Hasht-E Subh) The meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), hosted by Uzbekistan in Tashkent. At the summit, some countries, including Tajikistan, have voiced concerns over the threat of terrorism and the activities of terrorist groups in Afghanistan.

The foreign ministers of China, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are exchanging views on important regional and global issues in their two-day meeting.

China will take the hosting of the SCO prime ministers’ meeting in November this year as an opportunity to promote the coordinated and efficient development of the regional economy.
