Political unrest in Pakistan; Imran Khans’ supporters continue to protest

Hasht-E Subh Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, six months after being removed from power, has called his supporters to massive protests. Al Jazeera reported that these protests, led by Imran Khan, started on Friday, October 28, from Lahore and continued towards Islamabad, the capital of this country.

Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, stated that the purpose of having protests is to hold early elections in this country. Despite the fact that a large number of police forces have been deployed on the 260-kilometer route from the origin to the destination of the protests,

Imran Khan has requested to allow the gathering of his supporters in Islamabad. The former prime minister of Pakistan has assured that the protests will not enter the red lines of the government and will remain in the areas designated by the court.
