AP Dhillon becomes first Punjabi artist to perform at the JUNO Awards

AP Dhillon, the internationally renowned Punjabi Canadian rapper who is based in Victoria, made history as the first Punjabi artist to perform at the 2023 Juno Awards on March 13. He has enjoyed success on global charts and built a massive fan base around the world and online (hundreds of millions streams on Spotify as well as on YouTube).

Dhillon was invited by superstar Avril Lavigne as a ‘global phenom.’ Punjabis in the crowd cheered and hooted as Dhillon started with his classic “Summer High.”
