United Nations Continues to Empower Afghan Women

Hasht-E Subh The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has said that the United Nations and its partners are working on creating economic opportunities to empower Afghan women financially.

The Office of the Coordinator of Humanitarian Aid in Afghanistan tweeted on Wednesday, November 23, that the people of Afghanistan, particularly women and children, are facing a difficult winter.

OCHA wrote that millions of Afghan citizens, particularly women, are trying to cope with the economic crisis and provide for the basic needs of their families. The institution also said yesterday that the families of Afghanistan are now living in the excruciating cold and are to face a very harsh winter with no facilities.
