Tajikistan Interior Minister: Taliban Issues Afghani Passport to ‘More than Three Thousand Terrorists’

Hasht-E Subh The Minister of Interior of Tajikistan has claimed that the Taliban group has issued Afghan passports to more than 3,000 “members of terrorist groups”.

Ramzan Rahimzadeh, the Minister of Interior of Tajikistan, stated this on Wednesday, October, at the summit of “International and Regional Security Cooperation and Border Management to Counter Terrorism”.

Addressing the participants of the summit, Rahimzadeh emphasized: “This situation once again confirms the danger of the Taliban regime and the problems of Afghanistan to be collectively addressed and fought.”

In the opening ceremony of the summit, Imam Ali Rahman, the president of Tajikistan, also said that tens of thousands of “terrorist and suicide bombers” are being trained in Afghanistan.

It should be mentioned that this two-day meeting was held in the city of Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, with the cooperation of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Tajikistan, the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Office, the European Union, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

So far, Taliban spokespersons and officials have not commented on the statements of Tajikistan’s officials in this meeting.
